  • 2 lb Chicken wingsdrums and flats
  • 1 tbsp Baking powderaluminum-free
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • as needed Neutral oil spray

  • Mixing bowl
  • Paper towels
  • Instant-read thermometer

Instructions

    Pat the wings very dry. Toss them with baking powder, salt, garlic powder, paprika, and pepper.

    Let the seasoned wings rest uncovered for 20 minutes while the air fryer preheats to 380 F.

    Lightly spray the basket. Arrange wings in a single layer and cook in batches if needed so air can move around them.

    Air fry at 380 F for 18 minutes, turning once halfway through.

    Increase to 400 F and cook until browned and crisp. Check that the wings reach 165 F in the thickest part away from bone.
