Cook Mode

Cook Mode is a distraction-free view of your recipe designed for use at the stove. All navigation, buttons, and UI chrome disappear — you get only the recipe title, ingredients, and steps, full screen.

Built for cooking from your phone

Most recipe apps are designed for browsing, not cooking. Cook Mode flips that. The text is large, the layout is linear, and there's nothing to accidentally tap. It keeps your screen from sleeping while you cook.

How to use it

On any recipe page, tap the Cookbutton. Cook Mode opens immediately. Swipe or scroll through ingredients and steps. When you're done, tap the back button to return to the recipe.

Works on any device

Cook Mode works in any mobile or desktop browser — no app download required. It's part of RecipeVersion's standard web interface, available free to all users.
